Aide Hails Obiano’s Ezinifite Erosion Intervention Project.

The Senior Special Assistant on Image Management to the executive governor of Anambra state Chief Dr Willie Mmaduabuchukwu Obiano, Hon. Chief Chika Ibeneme (Odaa Opuo) has paid glowing tributes to the state governor for for the magnificent job in controlling the devastating erosion menace in Ezinifite town, Nnewi South local government area of Anambra state.

The governor’s aide who hails from the same local government, after a tour of he project site praised the governor for other similar projects scattered all over the state.

Speaking to our correspondent who monitored the project tour, Hon. Ibeneme said:

It is exciting to note that there are several projects and interventions undertaken by the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Chief Sir Willie M. Obiano to safe guard ndi Anambra especially in the area of erosion control. One of such silent positive interventions is this Nkwozu erosion site, Ezinifite Nnewi South LGA.

This erosion site caused devastating and horrible scars on the activities in Ezinifite town and the adjoining towns of Amarulu in Imo State. The inhabitants of these communities witnessed untold hardships and losses due to gully erosion menace.

Thankfully, our Governor intervened by awarding the contract to Doliz Brown Limited whom from evidence on site has done a good job here. The quality of the job done looks quite good.

This is just one of the many such jobs done across the state. No wonder ndi Anambra are appreciative. Willie is working and Ndi Anambra are happy.

About the Chisco/Ogbodi/Osumenyi road project, Chief Ibeneme who is the secretary of Amichi traditional cabinet council reiterated that work shall soon restart as he has doubled his efforts in synergy with the ministry of works to ensure that the contractors return back to site.

Recall that the government of Anambra state has in recent times commissioned a number of signature infrastructure projects across the state.
