Akai Egwuonwu Foundation Embarks On 3rd Phase Of Covid-19 Palliatives To Ndi-Amichi.

In furtherance to adhering the call by the Anambra State Government for Stakeholders to rally round their people at this time of need, billionaire businessman and the Chairman CEO Stine Industries Limited( Millers of Anambra Rice) High Chief Akai Egwuonwu (Ume-Ebubeagu Ndigbo) has through his foundation embarked on the 3rd Phase of his reachout to the people of his town Amichi, Nnewi-South Local Government in the State.
This time, over 1000 bags of rice, Beans ,Cartons of Noodles and Tubers of Yam has arrived the Youth Office of the town to be distributed to over 1000 Widows, widowers and indigenes of the town to help cushion the effect of the pandemic on his people.
Recall that the Akai Egwuonwu Foundation fed 119 elderly men and women from the town daily for 3 weeks of the initial total lockdown and has continued to reach out to individuals and groups with food and cash to identify with them at this time.
Chief Akai Egwuonwu has shown once again that the Igbo communal spirit still exists and Onye aghana nwanne mantra lives on.
Special Appreciation to Amichi Youth President Ambassador Ezike Emmanuel and his team for peacefully coordinating the palliatives from the Akai Egwuonwu Foundation.
Anambra State Governor Chief Dr. Willie Obiano has continued to appreciate stakeholders across Political divide for their individual and collective efforts in reaching out and assisting the State Government in her efforts in the fight against Covid-19.
