COVID-19: Orjiezeka Village Amichi Receives Palliatives.
Hon. Chikwendu “Ochiagha” Onwuania, Amichi, Nnewi South LGA.
As the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic continues to threaten the lives of people all over the world,the concerned Sons and daughters of Orjiezeka Village Amichi, Nnewi South LGA, Anambra State, led by their National President Hon Okafor Chuka Sunnyside (jnr) recently set up a committee which disbursed palliatives like bags of rice, noodles,tubers of yam,garri and other essential commodities to indigent and less privileged members of the community to cushion the effects of restriction of movement by the State Government as a major preventives measure to curb the spread of this dreaded covid 19 pandemic.
This is the latest in a series of palliative measures his administration has taken in their efforts to cushion the biting effect of the covid 19 to induced sit at home order .
He charged the village Task-Force who are the watchdogs of the villages to monitor the distribution process & report any act of sabotage to the Executives.
Really,it was a thing of joy seeing happy faces of the beneficiaries as they carried away their foodstuffs to their respective homes of domicile.
Based on security report in the village,he described it as second to none because since he assumed office as the President General, Security of lives and properties have been top on his order of priorities.He also called on security agencies to beef up their operations all over the village.
For the ongoing Ultra Modern Civic Hall been constructed by his administration ,due to the economic lockdown,the work is slow but he promised that as soon as things return to normal,work will continue with full force.
He thanked the sons and daughters of Orjiezeka & the organising Committee who responded positively when he made the Clarion call for support,he prayed that God will continue to bless & enlarge their coast in Jesus Name,Amen.
