Fresh Start As Amichi Gets New President General.

Evangelist Emeka Ezekiel-Udogu over the weekend emerged as the president general of Amichi Development Union (ADU) in a re-run election ordered by the Anambra State government.

The election which was originally fixed for April 5th 2020 suffered a setback as the electoral committee suddenly announced a cancellation which led to fiscuffs.

The Anambra State government through the ministry of local government and chieftaincy affairs ordered a re-run, mandating the 4 quarters of Amichi to organize a primary election on all positions allocated to them and submit same to the ministry, fixing an affirmation for May 29th.

The confirmation process was witnessed by observers and delegates from Anambra State government.

It it the hope of Ndi Amichi that this new administration shall repair the ‘bad blood’ existing with some quarters as orchestrated by the outgone government of Chief Daniel Ugwumba.
