PHOTOS+VIDEO: Confusion As Unknown Assailants Dump Corpse Along Amichi Road.

Amichi community in Nnewi South local government area of Anambra state was yesterday in the wee hours of the afternoon, thrown into confusion upon the discovery of a dead body of an unknown middle-aged man dumped at Amichi axis of Oba-Nnewi-Amichi-Unubi-Uga-Okigwe federal highway by unknown people.

The vigilante operatives of the community on routine patrol discovered the body which was dumped face-down by the road side at the popular Ugilinze forest, just after Onuselogu junction. They immediately called the attention of the officers of the Nigeria Police who arrived the scene and took the body away after preliminary investigative precautions.

The unknown man, fair in complexion, was tied by the hands and legs, with bruises all over his face and parts of his body.

Investigation is ongoing to unravel the mystery.
