Pjanic turns down PSG and Chelsea as he only wants Barcelona (Marca)
Miralem Pjanic is determined to join Barcelona this summer and, as such, he has rejected proposals from both Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.
The Juventus midfielder has been close to finalising a move to the Camp Nou in the past, and he is not willing to allow this opportunity to pass him by.
In fact, MARCA reported a few weeks ago that Pjanic is ready to ignore any other offers as he only wants Barcelona, while the Italian newspaper Tuttosport also state this to be the case.
However, what is necessary is for Barcelona and Juventus to make further progression in their negotiations, with the Bianconeri having been unsatisfied with the Blaugrana’s offers to this point.
Juventus accept that Arthur Melo will not be making the move to Turin as part of the deal, while they realise that it will be difficult to keep Pjanic, so they are trying to make as much money as possible from his departure.
The 30-year-old has a contract with Juventus until June 30, 2023 and is valued at 50 million euros.
Since joining Juventus from Roma in 2016, Pjanic has been a regular starter at the Allianz Stadium.
