SECHUWARIIS Rolls Out Scholarship Scheme For Amichi Indigenes.
A development foundation made up of well-meaning “Ndi Amichi” from different sectors and strata with the mindset of community service and development, known as SECHUWARIIS, has rolled out plans to grant scholarships to Amichians to study in any federal or state-owned higher institution in Nigeria.
In a statement signed by Engr Sir Igweka Uche and Barr. Nnodu Agu, the Chairman and Secretary of the scholarship board respectively, the scheme is open to Amichi Indigenes only, and application shall close on 20th October.
The statement reads:
SECHUWARIIS -a Veritable Platform for Service and Development invites applications from suitably qualified persons from Amichi, for the award of SCHOLARSHIP to study in any of the Nigerian Federal or State owned Universities.
Application is open to only male and female indigent applicants.
Each applicant must:-
(i.) Be an indigene of Amichi.
(ii) Have passed JAMB and POST UTME and gained admission into a Federal or
State owned universities.
(ii) HAVE GAINED ADMISSION TO STUDY SCIENCE OR TECHNOLOGY COURSE
(iv.) Have written at least a first semester examination in the institution.
The following are required for application:-
(i.) A formal application letter
(ii.) Applicant’s Curriculum Vitae (CV)
(iii.) Photocopy of academic credentials
(iv.) Proof of Amichi as home town
(vii.) Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age.
Application forms should be obtained from the various Amichi Development Union
